whySwaraksha?

The recent child abuse which shook Bangalore's confidence on safety affected us in a big way. After a few sleepless nights, we, a group of friends, felt the need to address the issue. 'Swaraksha' is a people's movement for spreading awareness and educating children in the most vulnerable age groups/situations about physical assault and sexual abuse of children. Our aim is to educate children in the age group of Std I to Std XII through visuals and interactive sessions. The campaign covers both normal and special schools, residential associations etc. Based on special requests educative sessions would be conducted for secondary and higher secondary students, parents and teachers. Like minded people are invited to join the movement. Lets make a safer and happy tomorrow for our children!
