Welcome to Swaraksha
“Swaraksha is an initiative dedicated to the prevention, protection, and safety of children, with a strong focus on child rights, welfare, and mental health. It specifically aims to combat child sexual abuse. Registered as a Charitable Trust (Reg No: 348/IV/2016) under the Indian Trust Act, 1882, the organization is also recognized by Darpan and Niti Aayog, Government of India. Swaraksha began its journey in 2013 as an Association of People before being formally registered as a Charitable Trust.
Over the past 11 years, Swaraksha has empowered more than 3 lakh children and adults. The initiative began as a public movement, founded by a group of like-minded professionals and concerned individuals, united by the goal of raising awareness, educating, and empowering children, adults, and the general public. From its inception, Swaraksha's primary focus has been to create a safe, supportive, and joyful environment for children, ensuring their well-being and protection.
We specialize in sensitive disclosure handling, trauma care, and comprehensive support services for both children and adults. Our comprehensive range of services includes:
Each of these areas is designed to safeguard and promote the overall well-being of children, ensuring their rights are protected and their potential fully nurtured.
"Through these key areas, we provide holistic support and resources to nurture the overall well-being of children and families."
For a more inclusive approach to child welfare, we also provide essential material support to marginalized and underprivileged children. This includes educational supplies (bags, uniforms, books, stationery), household necessities (bedsheets, kitchen items, combs, soap, clothing, lamps, fans, and tablets for group studies), and recreational resources (library books, storybooks). By addressing these fundamental needs, we aim to create an environment that fosters their growth and development."
